Law Enforcement Requests
Effective Date: September 25, 2026 • Global Judicial & Cybercrime Cooperation
Architectural Notice for Investigators: BreezeSwap operates strictly as a non-custodial software interface and API routing layer. We do not control private keys, hot wallets, or liquidity pools. However, we maintain full connection telemetry logs and upstream Execution Partner correlation IDs to assist authorized investigations.
1. Scope of Available Evidentiary Records
Upon receipt of a verified, legally valid subpoena, court order, or emergency preservation request from a recognized law enforcement agency (e.g., Europol, Interpol, federal cybercrime units, or national judicial authorities), BreezeSwap can produce a structured Telemetry & Routing Dossier containing:
- Order & Settlement Identifiers: The public 16-character Order ID, exact UTC creation/update timestamps, and the corresponding upstream Execution Partner Transaction ID.
- On-Chain Routing Parameters: Provisioned deposit address, user-specified destination payout address, optional refund address, asset tickers, and recorded blockchain transaction hashes (`txHash`).
- Client Network Telemetry: Originating client IP address (captured at order creation, for all exchange types including Private Swaps), CDN-provided country/region/city, HTTP User-Agent, Accept-Language and the Cloudflare request (Ray) ID.
- Device & Session Fingerprint: SHA-256 device fingerprint hash with its underlying components (screen, OS/platform, browser, languages, CPU/memory, canvas and WebGL identifiers) and system timezone. These values are reported by the client device and should be treated as supporting, not conclusive, evidence.
- Order Access History: IP addresses and User-Agents that opened the order status page after creation.
- Record Integrity: Each record carries a keyed integrity hash computed at creation, allowing verification that it has not been altered.
2. Emergency Asset Freeze Requests
Because BreezeSwap does not hold custody of deposited digital assets, any request to freeze an in-flight swap must be submitted immediately while the transaction is still in `Waiting`, `Confirming`, or `Verifying` status. Upon receiving an emergency law enforcement alert, our Compliance Desk will immediately transmit the upstream Provider Transaction ID and freeze directive to the executing liquidity provider's security team.
3. Mandatory Requirements for Official Submissions
To prevent fraudulent social engineering, we only process requests that meet all of the following criteria:
- Transmitted from an official government or law enforcement agency email domain (e.g., `.gov`, `.police`, `.eu`, `.mil`, or verified national judicial domains);
- Clearly identifies the investigating agency, officer name, badge/identification number, direct telephone number, and formal case/docket reference;
- Specifies the exact 16-character Public Order ID, blockchain deposit/payout wallet address, or on-chain transaction hash (`txHash`);
- Attaches the signed subpoena, mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT) request, or emergency preservation notice in PDF format.
4. Official Law Enforcement Contact Channel
All law enforcement inquiries, preservation notices, and subpoenas should be directed to our Legal & Compliance Desk with the subject line [URGENT LEA REQUEST - CASE #] at: tickets@breezeswap-io.p.tawk.email.
