How It Works

How an exchange works

Four steps, no account. Your coins go directly from our liquidity partner to your own wallet.

1. Choose a pair and amount

Select the coin you send and the coin you receive, including the network for each. The calculator shows the estimated amount you receive, with our fee of up to 0.4% and the payout network fee already included.

2. Enter your wallet address

Enter the address where you want to receive coins, plus a memo or tag if required. You can also add a refund address.

3. Send the deposit

Send the exact amount to the one-time deposit address, on the network shown. With a fixed rate, send before the countdown ends.

4. Receive your coins

Once the deposit is confirmed on the blockchain, the exchange runs automatically and the payout is sent to your wallet. Most exchanges take 5–30 minutes.

Who executes the exchange

BreezeSwap is a non-custodial interface. Quotes, deposit addresses and payouts are provided by established third-party liquidity partners. We never hold your funds or private keys. Every deposit is checked by our partners' automated risk screening, and in some cases a partner may request identity verification. See the AML / KYC Policy.

Floating vs. fixed rate

A floating rate is set when your deposit is confirmed, so the final amount can differ from the estimate. A fixed rate locks the amount you receive while the countdown runs, provided you send exactly the quoted amount on the quoted network.

Private Swap

A Private Swap routes the exchange through an intermediate asset, so the deposit and payout transactions are not directly linked on the blockchain. Funds are never pooled with other users' funds. It takes longer and has a higher minimum.

Before you send

  • Double-check the payout address. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
  • Use exactly the network shown for the deposit, and include a memo or tag if one is shown.
  • Save your Exchange ID to track the order.
