Risk Disclosure
Effective Date: September 26, 2026. Please read this before using the service.
Exchanging cryptocurrencies involves significant risk. Only exchange amounts you can afford to lose. By using BreezeSwap, you confirm that you understand the risks below. This disclosure is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Price volatility
Cryptocurrency prices can change sharply within minutes. With a floating rate, the amount you receive is calculated when your deposit is confirmed and may be lower than the estimate. A fixed rate protects you only while its countdown is running and only if you send exactly the quoted amount on the quoted network.
The value of the coins you receive may fall after the exchange. You may lose some or all of the value of your assets.
2. Irreversible transactions
Blockchain transactions cannot be cancelled or reversed. If you enter a wrong payout address, the funds will be sent there and cannot be returned by us or our partners. Always check the address, network and memo or tag before confirming.
3. Network, memo and user errors
Sending coins on a network other than the one shown, to an expired or reused deposit address, or without a required memo or tag may lead to delays or permanent loss. Where recovery is technically possible, it usually takes 14–30 business days; in some cases a recovery fee of up to $50 plus network fees is deducted. Some errors cannot be recovered.
4. Blockchain and technical risks
Networks can be congested, change their rules (forks), suffer outages or have software vulnerabilities. Network fees can rise unexpectedly. These events can delay exchanges or change their outcome and are outside our control.
5. Third-party execution
BreezeSwap is a non-custodial interface. Exchanges are executed by third-party liquidity partners. Their availability, limits, risk screening and decisions affect your exchange. A partner may pause an exchange, request identity verification (KYC) and source-of-funds information, refund a deposit, or, where required by law, freeze funds.
6. Regulatory and tax risks
Laws on cryptocurrencies differ between countries and can change at any time. Some services may become unavailable in your country. You are responsible for making sure that using the service is legal where you live and for paying any taxes on your transactions.
7. Private Swap
A Private Swap reduces the direct on-chain link between your deposit and payout, but does not make transactions anonymous or untraceable. It takes longer, has a higher minimum, and is subject to the same screening and verification rules as a standard exchange.
8. Security and fraud
Scammers may impersonate BreezeSwap through fake websites, social media accounts or support chats. Our only website is breezeswap.io. We will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys or passwords, and never ask you to send funds to “unlock” or “verify” an exchange. You are responsible for the security of your own wallets and devices.
9. No advice
BreezeSwap does not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Information on this website, including articles and rate data, is for general information only. Past prices do not predict future results.
