Solana Swap (SOL)

Solana is a high-throughput blockchain built for fast, low-cost transactions. SOL is its native coin and is used to pay network fees and to stake with validators that secure the chain through proof-of-stake. Solana hosts a large ecosystem of tokens, stablecoins and applications, and its tokens follow the SPL standard. Any wallet that interacts with Solana needs a small SOL balance to cover fees.

People exchange SOL to fund a Solana wallet, to move into tokens or stablecoins on the network, or to switch to another chain. On BreezeSwap you send SOL to a one-time deposit address for your order and receive the other coin directly in your wallet. No account or sign-up is required. Most exchanges take 5–30 minutes, and Solana deposits are usually detected quickly.

Tips for sending and receiving SOL

  • Solana addresses are base58 strings, usually 32 to 44 characters long, with no fixed prefix. Paste the address rather than typing it.
  • Sending SOL requires a small amount of SOL for the network fee. Leave a little extra in your wallet so the transfer does not fail.
  • Only send native SOL to a SOL deposit address. Tokens such as USDC on Solana need an order created for that token.
