Bitcoin Swap (BTC)
Bitcoin is the first decentralized cryptocurrency. It runs on a public proof-of-work blockchain maintained by miners and independent nodes around the world, with no central issuer. Every transaction is recorded on a shared ledger that anyone can inspect. Bitcoin is held in self-custody wallets and moved directly between users, which makes it a common base asset for savings and for payments across borders.
People exchange Bitcoin to move into or out of other coins without holding funds on a platform. On BreezeSwap you pick a pair, enter the address where you want to receive coins, and send BTC to a one-time deposit address created for your order. No account or sign-up is required, and the payout goes directly to your wallet. Most exchanges take 5–30 minutes, depending mainly on Bitcoin block times.

Tips for sending and receiving BTC
- Bitcoin addresses can start with bc1q (SegWit), bc1p (Taproot), 1 (legacy) or 3 (script). Copy and paste the full address and check the first and last characters before confirming.
- Deposits are processed after they receive network confirmations. Blocks arrive about every 10 minutes on average, so a deposit can take longer when the network is busy.
- Your wallet sets the miner fee. A fee that is too low can leave the transaction unconfirmed for a long time, so use the wallet's recommended fee level.
- Send the exact amount shown for your order. A different amount can change the result, especially on a fixed-rate order.

No account or sign-up is required. KYC is not required for most swaps, but liquidity partners may request verification, e.g. if a deposit is flagged by risk screening.
A service fee of up to 0.4% is already included in the quoted rate, with no additional fees on top. You still pay the normal Bitcoin miner fee set by your own wallet when you send the deposit.
A floating rate follows the market until your deposit is confirmed, so the final amount can move up or down. A fixed rate locks the amount you receive, as long as you send the exact deposit within the time window shown.
