A Private Swap is a crypto exchange routed through two independent exchanges with an intermediate asset, so the deposit transaction and the payout transaction are not directly linked on the blockchain.
How it works
- You send your coins to a one-time deposit address at the first exchange.
- They are converted to an intermediate asset and moved on-chain to a second, independent exchange.
- The second exchange converts them to the coin you chose and sends it to your wallet.
The first exchange never receives your payout address, and the second never receives your deposit address. No account or sign-up is needed.
What to expect
- Your funds are never pooled or mixed with other users' funds. It is not a mixer.
- It does not make transactions anonymous or untraceable; it removes the direct link between deposit and payout.
- Private Swaps usually take longer than standard swaps because there are extra steps.
- There is a higher minimum amount (shown in the calculator) than for standard swaps.
- The same risk screening and verification rules apply as for standard swaps.
